The logging step is where habit trackers die
Almost nobody quits a habit tracker because they stopped caring about the habit. They quit because opening the app, finding the row and tapping the box is three steps of friction at the exact moment they feel least like doing admin. Remove the logging step and the tracker survives a lot longer.
Daily, weekly and continuous
Not every commitment is a daily one. "Gym three times a week" and "write every day" fail under the same rigid streak model, so they are tracked differently — weekly targets count across the week, continuous habits count the chain, and one-off deadlines get their own reminder cadence that you control per item.
Streaks that don't punish a bad day
A missed day resets the counter, because that is what makes a streak mean something. But it never removes what you already earned — including the rewards in the 75 Day Hard Challenge. That distinction is deliberate: the all-or-nothing reset is what makes people abandon streak apps entirely after one bad week.
It feeds everything else
What you log is what tomorrow's call talks about. That is the loop — tracking is not a separate scoreboard, it is the input to the coaching.
